TRAINING COURSE

TRAUMA SKILLS FOR THE TACTICAL OPERATOR©
(3 Day)

The intent of this course is to introduce the non medical, Tactical Operator to life saving knowledge, techniques and equipment as presented in Tactical Combat Casualty Care. This body of knowledge has been taught to a multitude United States military personnel with astounding results. Working with advanced medical assets, non medical military personnel have been responsible for more than a fifty percent reduction in field mortality and morbidity rates in combat zones. The Tactical Operator may face the same determined and well equipped threat as their U.S. military counterpart. This body of knowledge is being integrated into U. S. law enforcement training since both departments of the government operate in a pre-hospital environment that share some common features.

In this course the Tactical Operator will be involved in: the proper integration with command and control, judgment and decision making in scenario based training. The Tactical Operator will demonstrate an understanding of practical skills with minimally invasive medical equipment as they are used in the pre-hospital environment. Finally, it is the intent of this course to provide a nucleus of knowledge for sustained training in this critical, life saving body of knowledge as it continues to evolve.

The Tactical Operators' successful completion of the course is contingent on the proper response to oral, written and practical live fire exercises.
